A Meme

Because if I don't take at least a short mental break from work today, I just might lose it.

When you walk in your front door, which room do you enter?
The entryway/hallway.

Do you have a dishwasher?
Yes, his name is Lee  ;-)  Oh, and we have a mechanical one, too.

Is your living room carpeted or does it have hardwood floors?
Carpet in the living room.  Awful, light, cream-colored carpet.  Who does that?  It's always filthy.

Do you keep your kitchen knives on the counter or in a drawer?
The ones that fit in the block are on the counter, the others are in a drawer (yes, we have a lot of knives).

House, apartment, duplex or trailer?

How many bedrooms is it?

Gas stove or electric?
Gas, yay!

Do you have a yard?

What size TV is in the living room?
A big one.

Are your plates in the same cupboard as your cups?
Lord no.  Cups and glasses have their own double cabinet, and coffee mugs are in yet another cabinet.

Is there a coffee maker sitting on your kitchen counter?
Yes, a Keurig, which we love.

What room is your computer in?
I think it's technically the dining room, but we've never used it for that.  We just call it "the front room."

Are there pictures hanging in your living room?
Nope, but there will be as soon as I figure out what to order!

Are there any themes found in your home?

What kind of laundry detergent do you use?
All small & mighty, free & clear

Do you use dryer sheets?
If I'm doing laundry, no - I use dryer balls and they work great.  Lee, however, is completely addicted to Bounce dryer sheets.

Curtains in your home?
On the downstairs windows.  None upstairs - just mini-blinds.

What color is your fridge?
Stainless steel

Is your house clean?
Yes, because I have the most wonderful husband on the planet.  Seriously.  I sat on my ass in the recliner ALL weekend long, and our house is spotless.  I had nothing to do with it.

What room is the most neglected?
It kind of rotates.  There's usually at least one room that remains kinda messy when all the others are clean.  Although right now, I'm pretty sure they're all clean - which is quite impressive!  (Have I mentioned how awesome Lee is?)

Are the dishes in your sink/dishwasher clean or dirty?
If they're in the sink, they're dirty.  If they're in the dishwasher, they're probably clean since it usually gets loaded and run almost immediately.

How long have you lived in your home?
2.5 years

Where did you live before?
In a tiny house on the West side of Columbus.

Do you have one of those fluffy toilet lid covers on your toilet?

Do you have a scale anywhere in your house?
Yes - in our bathroom.

How many mirrors are in your house?
Not sure - somewhere between 4 and 6, if you include hand-held and counter-top ones.

Look up. What do you see?
The ceiling at work.

Do you have a garage?
Yes, a 2-car garage that hasn't had a car in it in a LONG time, although Lee says that's his next project.

We have dryer balls and I tested a kind of non-scientific test and they don't seem to cut the static any. But I've been too lazy to use dryer sheets and I guess I have staticky clothes no matter what.

And lol@ you figuring out what to put on your walls. ;-)
